These are my sketches for a pin I made for Megan. The design in the upper left was the first one idea I had (and I have a page filled with variations it), but I scrapped it in favor of a sleeker oval one. The evolution of the design should be read from top to bottom, the last one being how it turned out. It's the second soldered piece I ever made, so I'm quite happy with the way it turned out. The frame is silver and the stones (the big oval at the top and the small circle at the bottom) were blue moonstone. Alas, my camera is terrible, and I sent it off before I had access to a good one, so I don't have a picture of how it turned out.
